Terms of Service

Raise Them Ready

Last updated: 12 July 2026

1. Who we are and acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Raise Them Ready (the "Service"), provided by [your name / company name] ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. What the Service does

Raise Them Ready generates personalised, AI-assisted learning activities for children aged 10–16 (Year 5–11, KS2–KS4), based on details a parent or guardian provides (a child's age and a selected interest). It also lets you log activities you've done independently, and export a record of completed activities.

The Service does not currently cover GCSE-level content.

The AI generates activities and suggestions — it does not teach your child. All activities are intended to be facilitated by you, the parent or guardian. The AI does not interact directly with your child, does not grade or mark answers, and does not make judgements about your child's ability.

3. Who can use the Service

You must be 18 or older to create an account.

The Service is intended for use by parents, guardians, and home educators, on behalf of children in their care.

Children do not create their own accounts or log in directly — all use of the Service is initiated and controlled by the account holder.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your child's age, which determines the content generated for them.

4. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login details secure, and for all activity that happens under your account.

Let us know as soon as possible if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

5. Subscription, billing, and cancellation

The Service is offered on a subscription basis: a 7-day free trial, followed by £6.99 per month, billed automatically until cancelled.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We don't store your full payment card details ourselves.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. No refunds are given for partial billing periods — if you cancel, you'll keep access to the Service until the end of the period you've already paid for, after which your subscription will not renew.

If a payment fails, we may restrict access to generating new content until payment is resolved. We'll never delete your existing records (completed challenges, logged activities) due to a failed payment alone.

We may change our pricing in future. If we do, we'll give you reasonable notice before any change applies to your subscription.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any purpose other than generating and tracking learning activities for a child or children in your care
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its underlying systems
  • Use the Service to generate, log, or store content that is unlawful, harmful, or abusive
  • Misrepresent your identity, your child's age, or any other information provided to the Service in a way that could produce inappropriate content

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

7. AI-generated content — important disclaimers

Activities and content generated by the Service are created using AI (Anthropic's Claude) and are intended as a starting point and guide for parent-led activities — not as professional educational advice, a substitute for a qualified education professional, or a guarantee of curriculum compliance.

While we design prompts carefully, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies. You're responsible for reviewing content before using it with your child.

The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or guaranteed to meet the requirements of any specific Local Authority, school, or examining body.

8. Evidence and reports

The Service allows you to export records of completed activities, intended to help support conversations with your Local Authority or for your own records.

We cannot guarantee that any Local Authority, or any other body, will accept reports generated by the Service as sufficient evidence of home education. Requirements vary by authority and are entirely at their discretion.

You remain responsible for meeting any legal obligations relating to your child's education, including any reporting or evidence requirements set by your Local Authority.

9. Your content

You own the content you create yourself — for example, the descriptions you write when logging an activity.

We grant you a licence to use, save, and print AI-generated content produced by the Service for your own personal and family use.

We retain ownership of the Service itself, including its design, underlying prompts, branding, and functionality. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content for commercial purposes.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers to function, including Anthropic (AI content generation), Stripe (payment processing), and Supabase (hosting and infrastructure). Our Privacy Policy explains how these providers handle your data.

11. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service.

12. Ending your account

You can cancel your subscription and/or delete your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data on deletion).

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you via email / an in-app notice before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
